We protect interiors against permanent staining. At the core is impregnation — a treatment applied around every fibre, so spills sit on the surface instead of soaking in, and interiors last up to 50% longer. If the interior is already soiled, we reset it with a professional deep clean first, and impregnate afterwards. We develop and manufacture the products ourselves in Norway, and have done since 1995.

We operate primarily in Norway and the Nordics with our own technicians, and have certified distribution partners in Europe, the Middle East, Asia and the Americas. All partners use the same products and the same procedures, and have completed our certification course.

The products are PFAS-free and contain no heavy metals. The impregnation is attested by Eurofins with documented very low VOC emissions, and qualifies for BREEAM Exemplary in five countries. Our cleaning product carries the Nordic Swan Ecolabel — the official ecolabel of the Nordic countries. As a company we are Eco-Lighthouse certified.

Yes. If we carry out the periodic cleaning for you, we guarantee the effect of the impregnation for five years. If the protection weakens during the guarantee period, we renew it. In addition, the products are WoolSafe approved, which means the treatment does not void the warranty on the carpet or furniture. We are a publicly approved cleaning company registered with the Norwegian Labour Inspection Authority, and carry full insurance cover.

Yes, it is included. Once the treatment is complete, the technician goes through the right daily maintenance with your own cleaning or operations staff: what to do about spills, what not to use, and how often to vacuum. On impregnated interiors, most stains come out with warm water and a cloth. You also receive a short written guide to put up.

Yes, and it is the solution we recommend for most clients. A service agreement means cleaning and re-impregnation happen at fixed intervals tailored to your operation and budget year, rather than as emergency jobs when something has gone wrong. Three things come with the agreement: predictable cost, planned delivery outside your busiest periods, and a five-year guarantee on the impregnation.

Depending on season and capacity, we can often start within one to two weeks of the agreement. For larger projects we plan together with you.

We invoice after the work is completed, with payment terms of 14–30 days. For larger organisations we can agree separate terms.

Impregnation is a professional treatment that lays an invisible protective layer around every fibre in furniture, carpets and other textiles. It makes it harder for dirt, liquid and stains to penetrate, and extends the lifespan of the textiles.

The impregnation normally lasts for many years, and we consider five years a safe starting point under normal use. In high-traffic environments, the interior often needs cleaning long before the protection is used up. Cleaning wears on it, which is why we impregnate again afterwards — a normal part of the cycle, not a sign that something has failed. If we carry out the periodic cleaning for you, we guarantee the effect for five years.

No, not straight away. The impregnation wraps around each fibre rather than forming a film across the surface, and with cleaning carried out by us, the protection normally stands up through two to three cleans. But wear and frequent cleaning do break it down over time. When it is close to used up, we renew it — often only on the parts of the area where it is actually worn, not across the whole surface.

The products are WoolSafe and CleanSeal approved and safe on wool and other sensitive natural fibres. We adapt the treatment to the material and always test on a small, barely visible area first.

No. The treatment is invisible and changes neither the textile’s appearance, colour nor feel. Because it sits around the fibre and not as a film across the surface, the textile breathes as before. The effect only shows when liquid or dirt meets the surface — it beads off instead of soaking in.

No. The products are tested and approved for the vast majority of textile types, and do not negatively affect the structure or properties of the textiles. We always test on a hidden area first.

Yes. We have dedicated formulas for leather and hides that protect against stains and wear, while the material keeps its natural breathability and flexibility.

No, you do not need to do anything special before we arrive. We assess the condition and carry out a deep clean before the protection if necessary. We take care of everything.

Deep cleaning is a thorough clean that reaches deep into the textile fibres and removes dirt, allergens and stains that regular cleaning cannot reach. We use professional equipment and products suited to each material.

It depends on the zone, and on whether the interior is impregnated. With impregnation, low-traffic areas typically go three years between deep cleans. In high-traffic zones — reception, canteen and main walkways — the need is closer to annual. Without impregnation, most need to clean considerably more often. We assess the building zone by zone during the assessment, rather than setting one interval for everything.

After deep cleaning, drying time is usually four to eight hours, depending on textile type, humidity and ventilation. After impregnation, the interior can be used again after four to six hours. Full curing of the impregnation takes 48 hours, but that does not affect when the room can be taken back into use.

We can remove most stains, but some permanent damage — such as bleach damage and colour changes — cannot always be fully removed. The sooner a stain is treated, the better the result. We always make an evaluation during the assessment.

We recommend waiting until the textiles are dry, typically four to eight hours. To limit disruption, we can carry out the work in the evening or at weekends, so the premises are ready for the next working day.

Yes. The products are approved for indoor use and safe for employees, customers and visitors once dry.

Yes. Deep cleaning removes dust, dust mites and allergens from the textiles, which can noticeably improve indoor air quality. That matters especially for people with allergies or asthma.

The Nordic Swan Ecolabel is the official ecolabel of the Nordic countries and assesses the product across its entire life cycle — raw materials, production, use and waste. That our cleaning agent carries the label means both what we clean with and what we protect with is independently environmentally assessed. In public procurement, the Nordic Swan Ecolabel is a criterion many municipalities weight directly.

Eco-Lighthouse is Norway’s most widely used environmental certification for businesses. It documents that we work systematically with environmental management across the entire operation, and it is independently audited. Many public procurers ask for it directly.
